The project involved the construction of a four storey over basement mixed use commercial / residential development in Cork City. The single storey basement included a car park and access ramp and flood prevention system. The basement was constructed using a combination of contiguous piles and metal sheet piling. The foundations consisted of augered in-situ concrete piles. The superstructure was in-situ concrete flat slab construction to third floor level. The top floor was constructed using a light weight steel frame with proprietary flat roof.
